Emma Rendl Denk

*1956

She studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Adolf Frohner 1987-91. In her pictures she examines everyday situations from the world around her and translates them into her own language of colours and shapes. The images are at the border between figurative and abstract, usually as a repetition of subjects.

Discover our Collection

Discover the almost 1,200 works in our constantly growing collection in our online database. In the future, the collection will be expanded primarily through the purchases of current contemporary art associated with the art prizes. However, the jury will also recommend annual purchases to the Board of Directors to supplement the existing holdings of recent Tyrolean art history.
